I have encountered many who don't want to get a massage because of "their body" and this saddens me. Massage is therapy period. We are not there to look at your body in any other way than professional. Trust me, when you are on the table we are focused on muscle and fascia. I recently came across this article and it puts it exactly the way I would. So please read. I hope it will change the minds of some who are hesitant to enjoy the many benefits of massage.

I am a Veteran and just retired from the Army. I haven't had a massage in years but today I had a massage with Karla. I had gained some weight and felt a little uncomfortable. I have to say that Karla is professional and really knew what she was doing. I feel like years of built up stress was released in my back and shoulders. The gift of touch is healing. Thank you!
